WHO?

Rafael Schouchana is a 28 years old User Experience Architect and Interaction Designer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is specialized in creating unique and simple online user experiences since 1998.

Rafael started his career very soon when he was only 16. Since then, Rafael got a Visual Design diploma at PUC-Rio, one of the great universities in Brazil.

Having 10 years of experience in this field, Rafael spent 6 years working with good clients as Visual Designer and became Information Architect 4 years ago when he was responsible of improving the usability of Santander Banespa Internet Banking, in Sao Paulo.

In 2006, he moved back to Rio where he worked for Globo.com, which is the largest media company in Latin America, for 1 year and 7 months, being responsible for delivering great experiences in their sports portal.

Rafael moved to London, UK, in September 2007, to join Sapient Interactive. Rafael is currently Manager of Information Architecture and work for clients from the travel, financial, mining, publishing and imaging industries. He is now experienced in a wide range of projects types, including online banking, internet portals, e-commerce websites and social applications.
